Genesis HTML5 Go To Top Source Code

By Victor M. Font Jr.

This source code is for the Geneis HTML5 "Return to Top" Tutorial article. In the original article, I included screen prints of the source and links to another site that has now become a paid membership site. This source code below is complete and will provide the Return to Top scrolling for Genesis HTML5 themes.

I pasted the code into Dynamic Custom Functions and it would not save. Looked at Cobalt forums and indicated it is not saving is because of “Some malformed PHP in your functions?”
This code used to work just fine on other sites but not when I’m building a new one.

    Any ideas?

This has worked on every Genesis site I’ve ever used it on without issue. I suspect that there’s something going on with Dynamic Custom Functions not writing the jQuery properly. You put the jQuery script in the Genesis/Theme Settings/Footer Script area. Then just add the shortcode to the Dynamic Custom Functions.
