FAQs
Does the monthly time rollover?
Like a lawyerâs retainer, your monthly allotment reserves our resources and your place in the queue; therefore, it does not rollover.
With the Advanced, you can take comfort in knowing that whatever you request within your allotted time receives priority attention.
What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc.?
The entire purpose of our care plans is preventive health. We hope to prohibit anything from happening, but in the event your website is rolled into the ER, we'll be there right by its side managing the first responders on your behalf.
We can't promise your website won't be hacked, but we do promise to do everything in our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the cleanup by restoring from one of our backups.
What tasks are included in the dedicated support time?
Glad you asked! Content update requests and small design improvements are the most common requests, however anything that can fit into your monthly support time is fair game. We just ask you to be aware that requests for new features to your website will likely result in a formal quote as those commonly exceed your monthly allotment.
How do consulting calls work?
Email is our best form of communication since it brings the fastest response. However, brainstorming and strategy discussions work best over the phone or a video call.
Consulting calls are available as an add-on for our First A.I.D. plan and included with our Advanced Plan. They laser focus the trajectory for growth and improvements. Many times, clients use this time to screen-share small updates or training.

How do unlimited content changes work?
Send us an email with clear instructions on the content you want changed. We'll get straight to work and let you know when it's doneâusually within 1 business day.
Content changes include any text or image tasks that take 30-minutes or less to complete. Typically, this means things like adding a testimonial, changing an image, fixing spelling or grammar errors, updating an existing post or page, adding a new event to your website, or adding a new post or page with content you've written.
Content changes do not include copyrighting for new posts and pages, updating advanced or custom features like an online shop or membership section, or adding new features and functionality.
Which browsers do you support?
We test changes in all current version browsers and make sure the site is responsive on common mobile display sizes. We do not support old or abandoned browsers, e.g., Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 10 and below, and previous versions of Google Chrome, Appleâs Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera.
We do not support alternative or cross-platform browsers such as Mozilla SeaMonkey, Windows K-Meleon, Mac Omniweb and iCab, or Linux Konqueror and Epiphany; and any others out there that we havenât heard about.
Even though Microsoft is providing vulnerability support for IE11 until October 14, 2025, the browser is largely incompatible with most modern web coding standards and will continue to remain so. Microsoft is not planning to add new features or functionality to IE11. As a result, we do not code for IE11 unless specifically requested. If you need us to consider IE11, weâll charge you at your planâs support rate for any additional design work, development, and testing.
To help support your customers, we can install a small snippet on your site that inspects browser versions, and when an unsupported browser is detected, it offers to redirect your customer to a site where they can download an updated version of the browser of their choice.
Do I have to create the content for the social media package?
You know your business and customer needs the best. Therefore, we rely on you to send us a variety of content for us to extract. The content you send us can be a link, latest news for your company, an interesting article relevant to your business, a YouTube video, or links to blog posts from other sites you'd like us to monitor. Once we distill the content, you'll approve it and we'll schedule its publication over the following 30 days. Weâll take care of finding stock images and providing SEO meta information.
What if I need more hours?
If you have a task that requires more time than what remains in your monthly allotment, we'll submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan. With your prior approval, on a case by case basis we can streamline the process and work past the allotment, billing the additional time at our current support rate. For First A.I.D. subscribers, our support rate is $125/hr.; Advanced Plan clients receive a discounted support rate.
How does billing work?
Can I really cancel anytime?
Absolutely! We're all about building a strong relationship with you and your business. We would hate to see you go, but we understand financial needs weigh on many decisions and donât want anyone to feel locked in. Request a cancellation via email to customer-service@victorfont.com, and we'll stop your service at the end of the month and send you your latest backup in case you have to restore the site.
My website wasn't built by you. Can I still be on a client plan?
Well⦠maybe⦠We don't approve every site for acceptance into our care plans.
Although these plans are designed for sites we build or remodel, we welcome clients who are looking for a long-term relationship with a dedicated digital business strategy team.
Before we accept an unfamiliar site into a care plan, we require a Website Tune-up to become familiar with your website, how it was built, and any potential issues that can arise. Along with the audit, we'll make a full backup and perform all the upkeep and monitoring tasks, if feasible.
We've sometimes evaluated sites that are so poorly constructed, and so far behind in updates, that executing upkeep tasks can break them. We won't allow that to happen. If we discover your site is one of "those", nothing short of a rebuild is appropriate.
When the audit is complete, we'll provide you with a "needs to be fixed" list and suggestions for any improvements requisite for acceptance into a monthly care plan. The site audit costs $500.
